Mariah Ankenman is a hybrid (both independently and traditionally) published romance author whose books can be found on Kindle Unlimited and Kobo Plus. She has published many books over the years including The Best Friends Problem and The Firefighters Dilema. In her own words she began writing to, “share my stories with readers and give them a happy place to escape to.”
Her favorite tropes include grumpy/sunshine, frenemies to lovers, forced proximity, rivals to lovers, friends to lovers, and sibling’s best friend.
Her favorite part of writing is, “Outlining! I love it when the story starts to take shape.”
Her advice to new authors is, “Listen to writing advice but find out what works best for you. Every writer is different and there’s no one path that’s right.”
